‘Heide Footsteps’ October 31^st – November 1^st 2015

Along with a exhibition of archival photographs of the Heide group holidaying in Point Lonsdale in 1945 there will be music performances, historic walks, a light show, archival films, the launch of “Modern Love”- by Lesley Harding & Kendrah Morgan…on Sunday Reed & Sidney Nolan, and an art discussion session Q & A style with panel members including Geoffrey Edwards, Director of the Geelong Gallery, Sigmund Jorgensen, Monsalvat Eltham and Lesley Alway former Director of Heide MOMA, currently Director of Asialink Arts Melbourne University

Heading the music line up will be ‘Ian Smith’s Heide Swing Band’ that will be playing at the Jazz Supper Dance on Saturday 31^st October at the Point Lonsdale Bowling Club. Tickets for this event are on sale at the Point Lonsdale Newsagency

Pasquinis Deck will be the main stage for ‘Soul Sister Swing’, Josh McCrimmon, Matt Davis and Southern Light who will all be performing on both days

The Point Lonsdale traders will be lighting their shops, creating interesting displays for visitors to view and participate in over the weekend

Visitors to the event will also be able to enjoy the Ocean Grove Rotary Club Art Show at the Point Lonsdale Community Hall over the weekend. The Point Lonsdale Lighthouse tour is on from 9.00am until 1.00pm
