‘The February Exhibition’ @ Tussock Upstairs Gallery

Gillian Turner, a regular exhibitor at Tussock Upstairs Gallery has recently returned from Ireland with new works for visitors to the gallery to enjoy when they visit the gallery’s next exhibition in February.

Jennifer McLachlan will be showing her richly coloured sensitive works for the first time at Tussock Upstairs. She will donate the proceeds of the sales of her works to assist in the search for a cure for ‘Alstrom Syndrome’ (a rare condition that effects new born resulting in a short life for children)

Mick Turner a Melbourne artist and musician, known primarily as guitarist with internationally acclaimed instrumental group Dirty Three will also be a first – time exhibitor at Tussock Upstairs. He has been a painter for as long as he’s played music. Mick has exhibited regularly in Melbourne and has been in several group exhibitions in New York, London and Italy. His paintings are held in private collections the world over.

Apollo Bay painter Gayle Seach and photographer Andrew Strang both widely acclaimed in their fields will also be first – time exhibitors at Tussock Upstairs when they show their work in the ‘February Exhibition’

Local artists Denise Rogers and Michael Ryan also new exhibitors at Tussock Upstairs and well-known local photographer Rodney Nicholson will be showing exciting new works in the ‘February Exhibition’ The exhibition opens with drinks with artists on Saturday 7th February 3pm – 5pm. ‘The February Exhibition’ runs from Monday 2nd February until Sunday March 1st
