After focusing on printmaking, mono-prints, etchings, linocuts for many years Grange Kemp recently started working in oil paints. Her grandfather gave her some of his oil paints, which included a tube of beautiful yellow paint. This was the beginning for Grange. She has always had an affinity with colour and the more she painted with oils the more she discovered their diversity. Her recent completion of a floristry course has been a strong influence on this exhibition but her lifelong love of colours and shapes in nature is a continuing influence. This exhibition also represents special people and places in her life.
